Blind to the attack from above, Arba received the blast of ki full-force, unable to dodge what he couldn't see. Armor smoking and hair singed as he turned his gaze skyward towards his assailant, the blue-skinned hybrid drew his 5th Class Hand Blaster and pointed it towards the man who'd cheap-shot him. "It's not your lucky day," the hybrid monologued ominously as his blaster siphoned ki from him, "This is a 5th Class Blaster... They work by using your energy score as a base attack. To use it, you spend at least one ki to power your attack, adding the expended ki to your damage pool. The blaster, unlike an actual ki attack, has a maximum cap to ki investment and agility investment based off of rank, which no skill can enhance. Right now I am spending three ki to empower my attack, because this blaster is rated for four, and spending four agility to attack with it, as well as simultaneously preparing a dodge for four agility."
Aiming the blaster towards G'17 and preparing to dodge an incoming attack from the parties he was aware of, Arba did his best to make sense of the new rules that had been slowly trickling in, as well as his new stats as they updated.
