Sanson's pod was set in low orbit around a small planet. It was nearby where he'd last picked up that distress call, but nothing was in sight and nothing was picking up on the pod's sensors. Sanson leaned back in his seat and let out a sigh. "I'm sure that beacon will pop up again soon, I'll just take a little nap til it does." He stretched a little before getting comfortable in his lazypod. He yawned and quickly drifted off to slumberland while orbiting at nearly three thousand meters per second.

((Posting, since enough time has elapsed))
With the duo departing the atmosphere with a rumble in their Icerian military ship, the ship begins autopiloting to the sector designated with its crew in tow. In the back of the ship Arba lazily reclines in a chair, his safety belt undone and his head tilted back as he stares listlessly at the ceiling. "Anything on the radar yet," the hybrid questioned with a tone of intense boredom, "This thing has sensors, right? Are you using them?"
Before G'17 could reply, a strange solar event nearby flared up with spectacular light, a wave of energy bursting outward from the star that lit the solar-system like a ripple on the surface of a lake. In a matter of seconds that energy was upon them, interfering with their sensors as well as their stealth, dropping them from their cloaked flight and making them visible to just about anything with a sensor. "What the fuck was that?!"

Sanson woke suddenly as his sensors notified him of an FGA vessel in close range. It was just on the other side of the planet. From the data, it was a small vessel. Probably housed a few imperial scouts. Nothing major, except that if he did much of any running away, a scout would probably catch him. Considering those odds, Sanson set course to intercept the imperial scouts. Fortunately, but unknown to him, the scout vessels ship was suffering the emp of a solar flare. Sanson's ship had been shielded by the planet.
After plotting an interception course, Sanson set thrusters to full and mentally prepared himself for imminent combat by clearing his mind of all thought and focusing on the one thing that gave him strength, Captain Ginyu and his own vengeance.

((I'm just going to continue posting here until G'17 returns again, he can jump in at any time then))
By now the two grunts were working side-by-side to try and return the ship to functional status, slowly rebooting the power systems and other necessities like life support... Engines would come next, but they were taking their sweet time. Unaware of the impending arrival of the FGF member that they were scouting for in the first place due to their sensors being cut, the crew of the ship would most likely be unprepared by the time Sanson arrived.
"Son of a gun, this thing is complicated... Why the hell didn't they give me any pilot training before they threw me out to work in the field?"
