Sanson panicked as his scouter informed him that the creature at his feet was suddenly concentrating and increasing its power for some obviously dangerous technique. He'd never encountered a beast like this before, so his knowledge of their techniques was unknown.
Using his mental fortitude, he launched an attack at the Kaiwareman. Ki crackled around his left shoulder as it concentrated into a small bead in his palm. Like a needle fired from a railgun, the bead of destructive force launched downward at the Kaiwareman. An explosion of energy surrounded Sanson. Dust and sand was thrust up into the air from the force of the explosion.
As the dust cleared, Sanson stood, surrounded by three Kaiwareman. His armor was in tatters, and blood flowed from his eyes. The destructive power of the Kaiwareman was horrifying. As Sanson gasped for air through the agonizing pain, he worried about exactly how this fight was going to end. He'd need to stop holding back if he were going to live through this.

Though the blast had uprooted the two lurking Kaiwaremen from their burrowing, it had placed them in the best possible place to attack, flanking on either side of the Terran who'd decided to go all-out. All three of the Kaiwaremen out in the open now had decided to go on the offensive with their prey weakened, surprised he could survive but confident that they could win. Rushing in headlong in an attack, their only defenses were their meager ki barriers raised to absorb the damage of whatever the Terran decided to attack with, the three aiming to claw their foe to death.
"Gigigigigigi!" That was the sound of death.

Jojo watched with slowly growing amusement as the little blue plant guys started dropping like flies. It looked like they were going to start killing themselves for Sanson, as if they hadn't been dying easily enough already. As an added bonus, the armor the guy had bought was starting to get a little worn, so it looked like he might be able to score a quick and easy repair job between fights if he was lucky. It was about time there was a match that was actually halfway worth watching.

Sanson's ki manipulation skills were truly dynamic. After realizing that these plant creatures concentrating their energy to push back some of his own, Sanson pulled deep within himself to command his own to do the same. A brutal roar burst out from within the terran, and sand swirled around him as a cyclonic wind lifted debris and pushed foreign objects away from Sanson; the cyclone's eye. To a scouter's view, or those talented in sense, Sanson's well of power would increase marginally from this act. Sanson's eyes locked on the kaiwaremen as the moved toward him in a violent blitzkrieg. The beasts almost seemed to be moving in slow motion.
By using a portion of his ki, Sanson erected a thin barrier around himself that shined to the eyes of those sensitive to it. Bright green light swirled around the terran as he again used the afterimage technique to vanish from his position, but only after slamming his palms together and releasing a bright green explosion field around himself. "Sonic Burst!" He screams out as he charges toward the one of the Kaiwareman. With a flash of light, he appears behind the creature and fires a devastating volley of energy blasts toward its back.
In the midst of his desperate attack, two of the three kaiwareman successfully assault him. The first's claw is completely pushed back by the barrier. The second breaks through and leaves a small, but heavily bleeding cut on Sanson's brow.
Was the terran finally going all out? What more was there to come?

What happened to their edge, their advantage? Even with all the wear and tear they'd put on the Terran, he seemed no slower or weaker... In fact, he'd become terrifyingly powerful in comparison to the weakling Kaiwaremen. In a flash of brilliant energy, two of the little blue monsters were eradicated swiftly and violently, leaving behind only gore and smoke where they'd once stood. Only one remained now, the usual crazed grin now broken and replaced by a look of terror... The bestial little creature finally understood what he was up against, and the realization that death was upon him gripped the little guy by his metaphorical brussel-sprouts.
What to do now? The lone Kaiwareman could fight, but he would die... He could run too, but then the Saiyans would kill him. Staring up at the crowd that raucously urged Sanson on for the kill, the little blue monster felt the world spin around him, the colors and sounds growing ever more bold and oversaturated, threatening to make him vomit as his stomach turned. Horror, anxiety, pain, and a desire for one last good sensation gripped him, and in a final attempt to enjoy anything, the last Kaiwareman ignited his suicide fuse, instantly exploding in a shower of gore rather than allowing Sanson the chance to kill him. It might almost make one feel bad for the little beast whose lot in life was but to fight and die.... Almost.

The terran stood in awe as the beast self-destructed in a panic. It was not a conclusion that Sanson had predicted, nor could process fully. These creatures were designed to be destroyed, but he'd concluded that they were mindless beasts. Such a suicide proved otherwise. For a moment, the terran understood the People for the Ethical Treatment of Saibamen. (PETS) Unfortunately, he'd not be joining their movement today. The terran would not rejoice or revel in his victory. Instead, he merely quietly headed toward the bunkhouse to seek treatment for his cuts and burns. He was strong, but the next wave of rounds would be against foes much greater than Saibamen, and he'd need to be more than his best to win.

Well that was horrible... Arba had never once considered that Kaiwaremen could be suicidal. Lowering his earthware cup from his lips as he hesitated to ponder further on that one, Arba brought his attention slowly back to the familiar looking fighter, occupying his mind with the possibilities of who it was that he was reminded of. A brief glimpse of a Terran graced his mind momentarily, posing audaciously in some exotic leg-raised bow... Was that who he was reminded of? Who was that supposed to be?
Oh fuck... That was Captain Ginyu. Was that man in the arena Captain Ginyu's host body's relative? And if so, what were the odds that the Captain was here in the crowd? Perhaps it was best that Arba keep an eye on Sanson if he ends up crossing paths with him later, maybe it could buy him an in with the Captain if he uncovered useful information.

Jojo was mildly pleased to see that the guy still lived, and more so that he'd gotten so badly thrashed. He seemed like he'd almost certainly be a repeat customer. The futile self destruction of the kaiwareman also amused him. All in all, this had probably been the best match he'd seen in the tournament yet, in that it had actually been a little bit good. The semi-amorphous void-black man smiled, revealing row after row of neat, sharp, very white teeth, gleaming in the night of his face like blinding beacons of light. Maybe this day had potential after all.
