Sanson rather disliked being on station alpha. It was crowded, reeked of grease and iron, and every room was just too small for his taste. He yearned for the day a job would come his way to explore a territory where he could find a nice open space, lie down, and nap as the breeze cooled the heat of the sun radiating down upon him. Alas, that day was not today. He registered one of the larger training rooms, one that was designed to support multiple fighters in a heightened spar. Samson liked the remotely open space. It was the largest and most isolated area he'd discovered in the areas of the station where he was permitted. A few times before, he'd merely used this time to stretch out and think. He'd plan strategies for combatting Ginyu, but nearly never put forth the effort to gain the strength necessary to do it. Once Ganza checked the training logs and found out that precious time slots in this chamber had been used for nap time. Samson still heard no end to that. Samson had come up with a compromise to that problem on his own. If he spent half his hour session training at a high level, he could get that precious nap in and he wouldn't get yelled at. Probably.
"Computer! Initiate ki training program". He stated flatly. A soft female voice responded, "Ki training program initiated. Would you like to run the tutorial?". Sanson shook his head. "Skip it." He didn't want to waste time. "Recruit, it is not suggested that you skip the tutorial. It is a vital part of any computer operation. On top of that importance, you might sustain unacceptable injury if you do not know how to run the program". He sighed. "I don't care. Initiate the program already". He found it very annoying that he had to argue with an AI.
"Level One", resounded through the chamber in that soft female voice. A single metallic ball shot through a hole that appeared in the wall. Sanson ducked as it zipped by him. The ball appeared to be made of a solid metallic about the size of a tennis ball. As quickly as Sanson ducked, the ball whipped around to strike again. Sanson fired a series of ki blasts at the ball, and it dodged a few before being disintegrated by a single blast. " Level One complete. You did well. Would you like to move up to level two?". Sanson shrugged. "That was too easy. What's the highest level?"
The computer responded. "The highest level completed by a recruit is level ten. Would you like to run that? I detect a one hundredth percent chance of you completing it based on your previous training records."
Sanson smirked. He'd really have to amp it up if he wanted to get away with a half hour nap while on training duty. "Take it to Eleven". He took a low stance and watched the walls of the room. If one ball came from level one, he'd easily take out eleven at once, then nap. The perfect plan.
"Very well. Safety precautions disabled. Level Eleven initiated". Sanson looked on in mild horror was thousands of holes opened up in the walls and multiple metalloid balls launched from each.
